Liseth Ancidey Early Childhood Instructional Guide, Practicum Advisor, and Field Consultant
After a 15-year career as a diplomat negotiating United Nations treaties and resolutions, I concluded that education is the most powerful tool for achieving world peace. Dr. Montessori’s convictions regarding the role of children in our future deeply impacted my life, leading me to begin my journey as a Montessori parent and teacher assistant in 2012.
In 2016, I joined the Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS) and graduated in 2017 with a focus on Early Childhood. Since then, I have served as a Montessori guide in both the private and public sectors as an assistant, lead teacher and classroom manager. Additionally, I have supported the CGMS as an adult residential instructor in English and Spanish, an instructional guide, a field consultant, and a practicum advisor.
As a lifelong learner and passionate Montessori guide, I embrace the concept of the Absorbent Mind. I am dedicated to discovering new ways to connect the world and build bridges toward universal brotherhood, recognizing and supporting the role of the children as the man and women of the future.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, I hold a degree in International Studies, a master’s in international politics and law, and a master’s in political science from CUNY. While I am a New Yorker at heart, I love to call North Carolina home, a special place that I share with my family and our pets.
