Lisa Maruna Video Presenter

Lisa Maruna first fell in love with Montessori when she had the opportunity to volunteer in a Montessori classroom after college. Lisa worked her way up from being an assistant teacher, substitute, lead primary teacher, finally founding her own Montessori school in 2013. As Head of School, Lisa is passionate about designing the indoor and outdoor environment of her 3-6 primary school that meets the needs of children in the High Desert of Oregon, incorporating gardening and nature studies. Lisa has an AMI primary teaching credential, a Bachelors in Fine Art, and is a state credentialed teacher trainer.
