Heidi Reed Elementary Instructional Guide

Heidi Reed holds a Montessori EL 1 AMS certificate and has taught in Montessori lower elementary classrooms since 2005.  She graduated from Florida State University with a BA in Spanish and is currently working on her Masters in Literacy Education at Southeastern University.  She has served as a field consultant, practicum adviser, instructional guide and summer residency instructor for CGMS since 2018.  Heidi has presented at IMC and MEPI conferences and designs curriculum that aligns Montessori with state standards.   Working with new teachers allows Heidi to share best practices and give real-life guidance to our next generation of educators.  She is passionate about Montessori in the public school sector, which provides excellence in education to all.  She has helped to start two Montessori charter schools, and enjoys showing new teachers how to guide an authentic Montessori public school classroom.
