Heather White Early Childhood Practicum Advisor and Field Consultant & Elementary Instructional Guide, Practicum Advisor, and Field Consultant
Heather White has worked in the world of Montessori for nearly two decades. She began her career as a Montessori early childhood guide and continued her path to work in the elementary I and elementary II classrooms, and later as an Associate Head of School. Heather now works in several capacities with adult learners working to receive their Montessori certification from The Center for Guided Montessori Studies and is an Adjunct Professor and the Director of Academic Projects for Sarasota University, the only MACTE accredited institution of higher education dedicated solely to Montessori.
Heather holds an Ed.S. degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida, an M.Ed. with a concentration in Montessori Studies from Plymouth State University, and she’s a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Heather is AMS credentialed at the 3-6 and 6-9 levels. She has received certification in Anti-Bias, Anti-Racism from AMS and nationally as a Montessori Coach from the National Center for Montessori in the Public Sector.
Heather finds immense joy in putting her years of experience and educational knowledge to use by inspiring all of those who cross her path and continuing to positively impact the lives of children through the work of Montessori by way of educators and caregivers.
