Gaylene Latham  Instructional Guide

Hello!
I am thrilled to be joining you on your Montessori journey!
I completed my Primary AMS Montessori certification in May of 2019 and began as a
co-lead in a 3-6 EC classroom.

Before embarking on my Montessori journey I homeschooled my two boys through 3rd
and 5th grades. Through my homeschool-parent journey I was introduced to the
Montessori Method and was immediately captivated by the emphasis on individuality,
exploration, and wonder.

I hold a BA in Humanities/Literature and Elementary Education from Wheelock College
(Boston, MA). I also hold a  Montessori Integrative M.Ed from TIES at Endicott College
(Beverly, MA). I also currently serve as a Level 1 Catechist with Catechesis of the Good
Shepherd, a Montessori approach to religious and liturgical education.

I began working with CGMS in 2022 and hold the roles of Practicum Advisor, Field
Consultant, and Instructional Guide.

When not working I can be found reading, hiking, practicing yoga, watching movies with
my boys, or working on an embroidery or crochet/knitting project.
