Emily Ross Instructional Guide

After receiving a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Indiana University, I was doing some cultural studies work in New Zealand when I first heard the word Montessori. The allure of the concept burrowed in and I’ve never looked back. Secondary training helped create a strong structure for the middle school program I support at Community Montessori. I am also fortunate enough to watch my own children flourish in independence and connection to the world through Montessori philosophy and practice. When I am not in the classroom, I work with our family company leading outdoor trips for adolescents and adults to connect to their space in the natural world.
