Webinar: Practical Life in the 21st Century: Guiding Children in an AI-Driven Era with Jorge Haro!
June 1 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
ET $45
This engaging and thought-provoking webinar invites educators to rethink the role of Practical Life in today’s rapidly changing world. In an era shaped by AI, increased screen time, and growing uncertainty, children need more than academic knowledge; they need the human skills that allow them to adapt, connect, and thrive. Drawing from Montessori principles and real classroom experience, Jorge Haro explores how Practical Life serves as the foundation for developing executive function, responsibility, collaboration, and true independence. Participants will leave with a renewed understanding of why “real life” work is more essential than ever. More importantly, this session goes beyond theory and into action. Jorge shares concrete, modern examples of how Practical Life can evolve across all planes of development, from Primary to Upper Elementary, integrating real-world skills such as time management, problem-solving, digital creation, and civic responsibility. With inspiring stories and practical strategies you can implement immediately, this webinar will challenge you to shift your perspective and empower you to design meaningful experiences that prepare children not just for school but for life.
Proposed Audience: This session is intended for all Montessori guides and administrators.
