Webinar: Observing with Intention: Nurturing Reflective Practice in Early Childhood Education with Debbie Couldrey!
April 23 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Asia/Singapore Free
This session explores observation as a deliberate, reflective practice central to early childhood education in a Montessori environment. Moving beyond passive watching, we will examine both formal and informal observations as tools for understanding the child, the environment and the educator’s own role within it. We will explore how observation is shaped by perspective – meaning educators may see different things in the same moment—and why this matters.
Finally, the session focuses on how to interpret and use observations to guide decisions, adapt environments and strengthen our practice, framing observation as an ongoing, purposeful process rather than a simple act of watching.
This will be an interactive webinar! Come prepared to engage and discuss!
