Erin Hardin is a Montessori Consultant, an instructor for the American Montessori Society’s Early Childhood Reading Certificate Course, and was a Montessori Guide for 25 years. She holds a BS in Psychology/Biology and an EC credential from the American Montessori Society. She has trained as an Orton-Gillingham Therapist, has a Montessori Applied to Children At Risk credential, and a certification of mastery from Language Essentials for Teacher of Reading and Spelling (LETRS K-5). She has effectively led schools in applying evidence-based literacy instruction across grade levels and continues to develop curriculum through the Montessori lens. Erin is committed to working with teachers and school administrators to ensure all children have the opportunity to learn to read and is dedicated to continuing after Dr. Montessori’s example of following the child and the science. As the director of faculty mentoring in a previous school, Erin helped teachers develop positive relationships with parents, advocate for the needs of neurodiverse students, cultivate classroom management techniques, and build systems to help teachers accomplish personal and professional goals. She is thrilled to join the coaching team at CGMS and is looking forward to partnering with other Montessori communities.
