Tuckahoe Montessori School, Richmond, VA, seeks Elementary Lead Teacher
Over the last forty years, Tuckahoe Montessori School has grown from its beginnings in a one-room schoolhouse serving a small group of children between the ages three to six to a school that spans the toddler years through elementary school. Each day at TMS you can find what made that one room schoolhouse so special — warmth, welcome, and joyful learning. We are looking for new members to join is in maintaining this unique environment in the 20.21 school year.
The school offers a flexible schedule, Simple IRA, PTO, and Training Opportunities. Additionally, a 50% tuition discount is offered for teacher’s children. TMS seeks to find a certified Elementary teacher to continue the growth of our program. Our Elementary program has been consistently growing based on our reputation of meeting each child where they are and from a growth mindset cultivating them into global citizens. We are looking for a guide to bring energy and passion to our program through and adherence to Montessori’s principles.
The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in the Montessori Environment. Candidates who do not currently possess a certification, yet have experience in an Elementary environment, are encouraged to apply. During the interview, the certification process will be discussed.
Hours: 7:50AM – 3:30PM Monday-Friday
